Gifts to Class of 1981 (45th) contribute to...
Wow, 2025 is flying by… before we know it, those of us in the north will be shoveling snow again. Thankfully, we enjoyed an extended summer in New England! But for the lack of rain, Ginny and I will take warm weather and bonus days at the beach as long as we can.
Another academic year is underway on Mayflower Hill, with students charting their paths through the help of inspiring professors, life-changing opportunities, and extraordinary friendships, just as we once did. I hope to see many of you at reunion next year, June 5–7, 2026, to celebrate those unforgettable days together.
As we gear up for our 45th reunion and look back on our four years on Mayflower Hill, we have an opportunity to help shape Colby’s future for new generations of students.
Will you join me in representing the Class of 1981 by making a gift to the Colby Fund today? Your gift will make an immediate difference, supporting scholarships, academics, athletics, student clubs, civic engagement, global experiences, the arts, and more.
To maximize your impact, consider a recurring gift. You can spread out your gift in smaller monthly amounts while staying connected to Mayflower Hill. Ginny and I have been on the monthly payment plan for so long that we have to remind ourselves that we are giving. It certainly makes it a painless process.
I hope you’ll help our class reach our goal of 130 donors this year and help put us in the running to be recognized at reunion for having the Highest Colby Fund Revenue, Colby Reunion Gift Total, or Participation Level. Together, we can show our love for Colby and celebrate what makes it so special.
The numbers of our class committee has dwindled, as Ginny and I are the only active members. Having worked on our 40th Reunion planning committee, I can confirm that it does take a small village to get things organized. Please reach out if you are able to help!
Thank you for your generosity, and don’t forget to mark your calendars for reunion, June 5–7, 2026. I look forward to celebrating together.
Go Mules!
Sincerely,
