Reactivated as a club sport in early 2025, Club Cheer was established to provide students with the opportunity to engage in fun-spirited cheerleading, learn the various disciplines of the sport, and spread enthusiasm throughout the Colby community. The club has quickly become a visible presence on campus, cheering from the sidelines of numerous varsity games and community events this past fall—a tradition they look forward to continuing and expanding in the seasons to come.
Gifts to Club Cheer directly support our growing roster of club athletes by providing essential uniforms, including both indoor attire and specialized warm-up gear designed for outdoor games and events during the winter months. The club's influence extends beyond traditional cheering; this past year, they spearheaded a Powderpuff Flag Football game that saw participation from more than 60 club athletes and drew a full stand of supporters from across campus. This program serves students who wish to continue their cheerleading journey or learn the sport for the first time, all while fostering a club sport that is rapidly becoming a cornerstone of student life.
