Since its founding in 2022, Colby Club Men's Basketball has seen a rapid ascent in the national rankings. As proud members of the National Club Basketball Association (NCBBA), the team is coming off a stellar 2025 season where we secured a second-place finish in our region. We are currently well-positioned for another deep playoff run, continuing to establish Colby as a formidable competitor on the regional stage.
Our student-athletes are dedicated to the game, consistently traveling to compete in Vermont and Massachusetts. However, to truly test our skills and represent Colby at the highest levels of club play, we aim to expand our travel schedule to additional states and tournaments. Your support is vital in helping us meet these logistical challenges and providing our players with the opportunity to face elite competition across the country.
Fundraising efforts are focused on providing the essential infrastructure for a high-level basketball program. Donations will go directly toward:
- Essential Equipment: Providing high-quality basketballs and updated scorekeeping technology.
- Professional Officiating: Covering the fees for referees to ensure our home games are played under regulation standards.
- Travel and Competition: Supporting the costs of transportation and tournament entry fees as we climb the national rankings.
The program serves as a major hub for student life, with more than 30 students regularly attending practices for high-energy pickup games. From this group, we select a 13-man travel roster that competes in the NCBBA, offering these athletes a unique opportunity to maintain their competitive edge in a rigorous, organized environment.
