Since its inception, Club Volleyball has grown into one of the largest and most vibrant student organizations on campus. We are a high-energy group dedicated to more than just the game; we are focused on building a welcoming community where students can unwind and connect. Our club places a dual emphasis on skill development—teaching the fundamentals to new players—and providing a spirited social environment for experienced athletes to thrive.
Known for our friendly atmosphere and inclusive reputation, Club Volleyball serves as a major hub for student life. To match the incredible growth of our membership, we are seeking funding to elevate our level of play and deepen our connections across the region. Our primary goals include:
- Safety and Performance: Replacing aging nets, poles, and balls with professional-grade equipment to ensure a safe and high-quality experience for all participants.
- Regional Networking: Building stronger intercollegiate relationships with other Maine schools through travel to away scrimmages and regional tournaments.
- Hosting Excellence: Investing in referee stands and officiating equipment to allow Colby to host its own league tournaments.
- Campus Engagement: Organizing intra-college tournaments and collaborative events with other clubs, featuring prizes to encourage wide participation across the student body.
